• Avoid Rapid Temperature Swings: Fluctuations in temperature can affect your flute. Allow the instrument to acclimate by keeping it inside its case until both your body temperature and the surrounding environment stabilize.
• Addressing Cold Weather: In extremely cold climates, refrain from blowing warm air into the bansuri. Gently touch the flute between the blowing hole and the first hole (Ma). If it feels too warm, pause playing for a minute to allow it to return to normal temperature.

2. Protection from Dryness:

• Oiling: In dry conditions, apply 3-4 drops of oil to a cotton cloth. Wrap the cloth around a stick and rub it gently inside the bansuri, ensuring there’s no dust. Avoidoiling in dusty areas.

  How to Clean Fungus:

  • Slight Dampness: If the fungus persists, slightly dampen the cloth (no dripping water) and try again.
  • Caution: Ensure the cloth is smooth to prevent damage to the bansuri during insertion and removal.
