Guitar

Guitar tops the list. It is the most trending musical instrument during this pandemic period of 2021. It is easier to play than most other instruments though it relatively requires a load of practice. It is a fretted instrument, which accommodates six strings. There are twelve-string guitars as well, which are tuned to play alike the 6 string ones. There are three main types of guitars on overlay:
Acoustic
Electric
Bass
Moreover, they’re classified further based on their variations.

Drum

The drum comes under percussion group of instruments. Drums are the world’s oldest & the most predominant instruments and this basic design has prevailed virtually eternal. It consists of a minimum of one membrane known as drumhead or drum skin.

Drums are played by striking the drum sticks with the hand & a beater attached to its pedal or with one or two sticks, either with or without padding.

A medley of sticks is used, including wooden sticks and sticks with soft beaters of felt on the tip. Drums are mostly used as musical therapy, peculiarly hand drums, because of their tangible nature.

Keyboard

Keyboards normally contain either 49, 61, or 76 keys for playing the twelve notes of the musical scale. With a fusion of larger – longer keys & smaller – shorter keys that repeats at the interval of an octave.

There are some keyboards with rare variations which contain only 12 keys that are used to play microtonal music. Some wind instrument keyboards like accordions and Indian harmoniums comprehend microtones.

Despite their visual resemblance, different keyboard instrument types require different techniques.

Piano

The piano is an acoustic, fretted instrument. It has a protective wooden case surrounded by the soundboard and metal strings. The “Piano” is a shortened term of Pianoforte.

Most modern-day pianos have a row of 88 black & white keys, 52 white keys for the notes of the C major scale(C, D, E, F, G, A, and B) & 36 shorter black keys, which are raised above the white keys, and set hindmost on the keyboard.

The most frequently encountered keyboard alike instrument is the piano, its layout is often compared to that of the piano keyboard.

Saxophone

The saxophone is a sort of woodwind instrument with a conical type of structure that is built up with brass. In addition, it is used as a solo & melody instrument or even as a part of a horn fragment in some kinds of rock and roll & popular music.

Saxophone players are called saxophonists. Saxophones are built-in distinct sizes and are almost always treated as transposing instruments.
